South African comedian, Trevor Noah has won the hearts of Americans following his success hosting The Daily Show. A year later, he released his debut nook, Born A Crime, which is being well received in the USA.
Noah’s book made it onto the New York Times bestseller list, another trophy in the bag for the comedian. The book is available in paper, ebook and audio. These various formats may have helped the success of the book.
The pretty face on the cover isn’t the only reason to pick up Born a Crime. The book is an honest, often arresting look at not only the author’s personal history but also the history of a shattered nation. Between his own memories, the book has a collection of 18 personal essays in which Noah tells a story of a mischievous boy struggling to find who he is in the world.
The comedian seems to be doing great for himself, following in the footsteps of fellow comedian, Tina Fey.
