Girlboss – Sophia Amoruso

After reading #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso, I was sensible to inspiration.  It brings me joy when women empower one another, it’s admirable knowing that someone out there is willing to prepare you for a rewarding power ride. I’ve read reviews before purchasing the book and I can still say #Girlboss is winning.

Sophia penned the ultimate guide to sanction girls. There are wonderful quotes and great advice from a girl who was diagnosed ADD, had a bad credit score and is now the CEO of a $100 million online store, NastyGal.

Sophia covers career, finance, business, life, sex. Everything you can think of. The content is  excellent supported by amusing illustrations of what a gitlboss should aspire to. A second edition should be in the pipeline. Like tips from the new NastyGal CEO, Sheree Waterson.

In my standpoint, Sophia brings to light that not everyone in university will graduate, not everyone who graduates will not be successful and that bad people are GOOD in some way. You have to belief that ‘YOU’ can project yourself into an awesome life. The kind you have always imagined.

She goes on to say that “don’t let the man get to you. Women are better CEOs than men”. #Girlboss is infectious, it motivates you to keep working. I highly recommend this book, it’s a stimulating fun read.

Signing out, #Girlboss
